There are a lot of cool things you can do with an old t-shirt, but one of my favorite ways to recycle that worn out, stinky t-shirt is to make necklaces! After scouring the internet, I found instructions for two different style necklaces that I am very proud to wear.  The accordion style necklace was a tutorial that I discovered on A Beautiful Mess.  The corded style necklace came from my favorite craft queen–Martha Stewart! All I had to do was grab an old tee, needle and thread, and scissors, and I was on my way to craft heaven!  They are both very easy to make and super cute.  Here are some photos of my finished products!  My only regret was not using a larger shirt for the corded style necklace.  The shirt I used was a size small, and it turned out to be a little too short for my taste.  I think if I used a mens shirt or a womens size large, I would have been a little more pleased with the result.  Even with that regret, I still think these are very adorable and such a fantastic recycling idea.
