Confession–I am not a jewelry person.ย I don’t subscribe to the “diamonds are a girls best friend” line of thought (Joey lucked out on that one).ย However, I am a girl, so I do own some jewelry.ย It is mostly cheap pieces that I have collected over the years.ย Since nothing is of any real value, I have never felt the need to have a nice jewelry box.ย Up until a few weeks ago, I stored everything in a plastic bin that I hid in my closet.ย ย But that all changed when I found an incredible tackle box at Goodwill Outlet and decided that it would be a perfect jewelry box.
It is a wonderful statement piece, and I am absolutely in love with it.
A jewelry box this beautiful deserves to have some decent jewelry in it. ย Maybe someone (Joey, ahem) will buy me a nice necklace for Christmas. I might not have an obsession with fine jewelry, but that doesn’t mean I’m opposed to getting some as a gift.
