For part 3 of the house tour, I am going to share our spare bedroom.  It serves as our office, craft room, and guest bedroom.

The room is very small, so we needed a narrow desk.  I found a perfect solution at Chartreuse, an amazing home store a few blocks from our house.  I bought the desk without really thinking about logistics, which was not a smart move. The store does not deliver and we have a mini car that barely fits two of us, let alone a desk.  Fortunately the shop owner let us borrow a cart, so we loaded the desk and Joey rolled it home. We were quite a sight walking down the street, but Joey was a good sport.

The sofa is the Karlstad Sofabed from Ikea. It is very comfortable and fits well in the room.  I would like to eventually change the legs and get a different slipcover, but I am satisfied for now.

The sofa opens up into a very comfortable bed.   My mom, our only guest so far, was pleasantly surprised.

My favorite part of the room is the chalkboard wall.  Joey likes to doodle on it late at night or when he is bored.  It is always exciting to wake up in the morning and see what new sketches Joey has finished.

And just for kicks, here is a photo I snapped on my phone of Joey rolling our desk home.  He was giving me his fake “angry” face.
