Port Townsend is a quirky little town of about 9,000 on the tip of the Olympic Peninsula. Home to numerous victorian mansions and a thriving arts scene, it’s a perfect day trip from Seattle.ย Joey and I went with some friend’s last weekend and spent a few hours exploring what the town had to offer. It was a lot of fun.

We even happened upon a fair and parade.ย It was lucky timing on our part.

We ended the day at Fort Worden, an old Army base that is now a beautiful state park.

All in all, it was a fun little getaway.
