When I was at Goodwill Outlet a while back, I stumbled upon a bin full of foam toy letters and numbers. Even though I had no idea what I would use them for, I figured they might be useful, so I snatched up as many as I could.
They sat in my craft drawer until this past weekend, when I decided to experiment by wrapping a few of the letters with string.
The finished letters look fantastic. It is hard to believe that they used to be a toy.
Currently two of the wrapped letters are hanging on the side of our office desk. It’s an unconventional place to display artwork, but I think it is sort of fun.
I choose to display the “D” and “O” because we “do” most of our creative endeavors in the office.
I have quite a few letters left and am planning on experimenting with different wrapping techniques.
