mox & fodder’s mission
Fostering individual creativity and documenting a treasure trove of inspiration, tutorials, and practical tips tailored to diy, style, and lifestyle enthusiasts.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I started mox & fodder shortly after getting married in 2010, and have been documenting my creative pursuits ever since. When I started the blog, my husband, Joey, and I lived in a 360 sqft house in Tucson, Arizona. Since then, a lot has changed. We moved to Seattle, bought a condo downtown, bought a very old craftsman house, and had a baby. And because having a full time job, a baby, and a lot of house projects isn’t enough,I started a side hustle with two of my best friends. We co-founded a feminist card game, Persist.
This blog is a place where I like to share projects that I’ve worked on. I’m not always great at keeping it updated, but it brings me joy and I hope it brings some to you as well.
I’ve been privileged enough to have my work featured in many print and online publications including:
- Apartment Therapy – May 2016, February 2016, and September 2014
- Buzzfeed – January 2015 and May 2013
- Good Houskeeping – August 2013
- Country Living – August 2015
- Brit + Co – October 2013
- Modern Dog Magazine – Summer 2012 Issue print and online
- Pure Wow – December 2015
- Bark Post – 2014
Although mox & fodder is independently run, I’ve been supported by a variety of partners from eco-conscious orgranizations, local companies, and innovative services. If you think that your company or small business is a strong fit for mox & fodder, please contact me through the Contact page.
