I don’t typically make a New Year’s resolution, but this year I am making a few exceptions.  As you know, one of my resolutions is to spend less money of decor.  My other resolution is to improve my photography skills.  As it stands now, I don’t think I am a horrible photographer, but I know that I could use improvement.  Ideally, I would like to take a photography class, but I couldn’t find any classes that worked with my schedule, so I am trying to teach myself as best as I can.  I am quite dedicated to improving.  In fact, last weekend, I braved the cold and trekked through downtown Seattle to snap some photos.  I’m hoping that the saying “practice makes perfect” is true.

The best part of my little expedition was when I ran into the paper horn man! He is so incredibly talented. I was blown away.

I have lots of room for improvement, but I am looking forward to the challenge.
