Two interesting things happened this weekend.ย One, I watched the a documentary, Eames: The Architect & The Painter.ย It was a fascinating look into the life and work of Charles and Ray Eames.ย Then in a totally unrelated coincidence, I stumbled upon a beautiful Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman replica at a consignment store.ย I bought it on the spot and somehow managed to get it into my tinyย Chevrolet Spark.
I have mixed feelings about replicas.ย On one hand, replicas unfairly capitalize on a designer’s creative genius;ย but on the other hand, replicas offer affordability to the masses. For instance, I don’t have $4,ooo sitting around to buy an authentic Eames Lounge chair, but I can afford a $400 vintage replica.
I love, love, love how this chair looks in our living room. It fits perfectly.

It was really very nice and this chair was one of the leading products in the market. Moreover, this Eames lounge chair perfectly suites your living room and even I am also having this chair in my bed room. My kids love to play with that chair.
