Alright, so I’ve been MIA for quite a while.  Not only did we buy a new (very old) house with a decent amount of maintenance needs, but I’ve been working really hard on launching Persist the Game (we are live on Amazon now!). I’ve also been working at my day job and most importantly, I’ve been preparing for baby Ekloff! I’m about 2 weeks from my due date, so last weekend, I went into full on nesting mode and decided to finish the nursery.  I’m not going to lie, this room was a labor of love. I re-arranged and changed the decor about 5 different times, much to Joey’s annoyance, but I finally got it exactly where I wanted. It’s very minimalist, but a little whimsical thanks to a hand painted gold wall courtesy of Joey. So without further adieu, here is the room!

Cute, right? I don’t think the photos even do it justice. The obvious standout is the hand painted wall. It took Joey a day and a half of hard labor, but it turned out perfect.  I originally wanted wallpaper, but he convinced me that the more economical approach was to just paint it. I’m glad I listened to him, because it’s a showstopper.
