Red is one of my least favorite colors. I rarely like anything that is red, which begs the question, why would I choose red as the color of the month if I hate it so much? Well, July’s birthstone is Ruby, so I thought it made sense to put my bias aside and let red have it’s moment in the spotlight.

I have to admit that despite my initial concerns, I found some very beautiful “red” centric designs. Maybe red is not such a bad color after all….
