All in all, it is a very cozy space. Most of the decor is handmade, thrifted, or from Ikea. One of my most recent diy projects was the curtains, which are actually the remaining scraps from an old duvet cover. I believe that one of the most important aspects of decoration is incorporating what you already have. For instance, that old duvet cover has been an integral part of many of my favorite diy projects including the suitcase dog bed and an art piece in the reading nook. I love giving new purpose and meaning to something that has outlived it’s original purpose.
